Good to know

• Parties of fifteen or more

  Larger groups are handled as a private event rather than a standard reservation, so we can hold a room and set a menu in advance.

• The bar seats walk-ins

  The full menu is served at the bar, and bar seating is first-come. If the dining room is booked out, it is still worth stopping in.

• Prime rib is Friday and Saturday

  Horseradish-crusted and slow-roasted, available after 4 PM until it runs out. Book earlier in the evening if that is what you are coming for.

• Sunday is the brunch buffet

  All you can eat, 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM, with the kitchen refilling the line until the last table is happy. It is priced per person rather than off the menu, and larger tables are worth booking ahead.

• The 1830 Speakeasy opens this fall

  A low-lit room with a bar of its own and a working fireplace, by reservation only, Thursday through Saturday from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. Reservations open closer to the date — add your name and we will write to you the morning they do. The whole room can also be taken privately before then.
